Overview of DEAP

DEAP was formed in 1996 but its origins can be found in the Business Support Group that existed from 1988 - 1995 to support the Whitfield Partnership which had been formed to spearhead the regeneration of the Whitfield area of Dundee. DEAP has formed strong partnerships with employers in Dundee who give our organisation exclusive job vacancies to recruit clients into. These employers allow an aftercare service to be undertaken within their companies. This benefits both the employer and employee leading to more sustainable employment. DEAP operates 14 jobshops throughout the Dundee area. These jobshops provide indivduals with in depth employment and training assistance in order for them to return to employment. Any persons seeking employment are free to drop into the jobshops and have a friendly chat with one of our recruitment consultants.
